Grundlagen der Codierungstheorie und Kryptologie

This course was for students of the Bachelor programmes Industry 4.0 Informatics (II) and Media Informatics (MI) at OTH Amberg-Weiden. Contents were fundamentals of information theory according to Shannon, discrete sources and channels, source coding, channel coding, error-detecting and error-correcting codes, linear and cyclic codes, modern symmetric-key encryption, hash functions and message authentication codes, public-key cryptography, and selected cryptographic protocols.

This course for undergraduate students was taught annually at OTH Amberg-Weiden and for the last time during the Winter Semester 2023/24.
