Moderne Anwendungen der Kryptographie

This advanced course on cryptography was aimed at students on various master programmes at OTH Amberg-Weiden. In contrast to the cryptography courses during the bachelor programmes, the approach of this course was to focus on selected topics and discuss them in greater detail. Starting from theoretical aspects such as security definitions and reductions, modern applications of cryptography like Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) or cryptocurrencies such as Zcash were discussed.

This course for master students was taught annually in collaboration with Ludger Krohs at OTH Amberg-Weiden and for the last time during the Summer Semester 2023.
