The course was for students on various degree programmes at the end of their Bachelor’s degree. Based on previous courses such as Computer Networks, Cyber Physical Systems or Fundamentals of Coding Theory and Cryptology, the course discussed how the relevant systems and technologies can be used securely. Topics included threats, vulnerabilities, risks, basic technologies, biometrics, security protocols, network security, web application security, and penetration testing.

This course for undergraduate students was taught annually at OTH Amberg-Weiden and for the last time in Winter Semester 2023/24.
