About Me

A very warm welcome to my personal website. My name is Andreas Aßmuth and I am a professor of IT security at Kiel University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Kiel) in Kiel, Germany. Before, I was professor of computer networks and mathematics at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden. My research interests are applied cryptography, information security, and ethical hacking. Furthermore, I am an enthusiastic Linux user.
