Cryptography

This elective course, which always takes place in the summer semester, provides an introduction to cryptography. Topics include basic cryptographic primitives, standard algorithms for encryption with symmetric keys, hash functions, message authentication codes, public key encryption and digital signatures. Selected cryptographic protocols are also discussed.
